2025-26 Important dates

For the Week of Feb 1-7, 2026

Training Night – 5 February 2026 

  • Timings: 1830-2130h

  • Location: Seaforth Armoury

  • Dress: FTU’s 

  • Bring writing utensils and notebooks

  • Level 5s and Parade Positions: Bring your Blue Tunic on a hanger for badge inspection. All Level 5s and parade positions must have their badges sewn on properly.

IMPORTANT UPCOMING DATES

  • STAND DOWN - March 13-April 1 – SPRING BREAK

H.R. MacMillan Space Center Planetarium Tour

  • Date: Feb 7, 2026

  • Time: 1300-1600h

  • Location: H.R. MacMillan Space Centre Main Entrance

  • Dress: Civilian clothing

  • Cadets who do not have a filled-out Code of Conduct will NOT be able to go. Please see the list below.

FAMILIARIZATION FLYING

  • All cadets interested in learning more about aviation and going on a familiarization flight, please sign up below. 

  • Dates and times are tentative, but is first come first serve upon availability and you will be contacted when dates become available.

CADET SUMMER TRAINING APPLICATIONS

  • Cadets interested in going to summer training this summer must apply through the link below.

  • Summer training is for cadets in level 2+ and there are a variety of courses available to choose from.

  • Dates for summer courses will be available in the signup sheet. Please see here for a full list of available courses.

  • For virtual courses, cadets must have a stable internet connection as it will be conducted at home (you must be using Canadian servers while in virtual camp). For in-person courses, cadets must have an active bank account to their name, as they are entitled to a $60/week training allocation bonus. 

RANGE 

  • Range Night will on Monday evenings from 1830-2100h

  • Range night is temporarily only open for cadets who have made the range team. The range team needs to practice for their upcoming competition in February. 

  • After the competition, range night will reopen for all cadets. Please check the email every week to see when you can return to range nights.

  • All questions can be forwarded to Capt Dionne at Jennifer.Dionne@cadets.gc.ca


AREA DIRECTED ACTIVITIES – ADA

IMPORTANT – ALL CADETS – Code of Conducts

  • ALL returning cadets must print, fill out and sign the Cadet Code of Conduct and return it to the Admin O by next Thursday

  • Make sure it has a parent signature on it before returning it

  • New cadets do not need to do this

  • PLEASE SEE THE LIST BELOW TO SEE IF YOU ARE MISSING YOUR CODE OF CONDUCT

IMPORTANT – ALL CADETS – ATTENDANCE AND ABSENCES

  • Please note, we are taking attendance at opening parade in flights

    • Fall into your flight at the beginning of the night and a senior cadet will call out attendance. Remember we now have three flights, if you do not know which one you are in, ask a senior cadet or come to the office and ask.

  • If you arrive late/after attendance has been taken, please make your way to the office and speak to Capt Fallah so she can change the attendance to mark you present.

  • UNABLE TO ATTEND CADETS

    • If you are sick, or unable to attend cadets, please email 135air@cadets.gc.ca

    • In the email, please have the following information

      • Rank and full legal name

      • Reason for absence

      • Date you will be away

 

UNIFORM EXCHANGE

  • If you need to exchange uniform parts, please bring your uniform parts to the supply on Thursdays ONLY.

 

CADET365 

  • We will be heavily relying on Cadet365 this year, please email 135air@cadets.gc.ca and Joseph.Jeon@cadets.gc.ca if you cannot access your account

  • NEW CADETS will receive an email once their account has been set up.

  • Starting this year, you will need C365 to sign up to any activity (flying, FTX, external band, spots, ground school, etc.)

 

Interested in Band?

  • If you are interest in joining the band, please sign up here. 

  • If you already play a concert band instrument and cannot make it to band practices, you are welcome to join the band flight, please sign up here. 

  • Info on timings and location are available on the sign-up form. 

  • The form will close on March 15th

EFFECTIVE SPEAKING

DRILL TEAM

  • If you are interested in refining your drill, learning advanced drill, improving your uniform standards, and showcasing your skills in a drill competition, please email Joseph.Jeon@cadets.gc.ca

  • Timings are every Monday at 1845-2045hrs at Seaforth Armoury with Parade Boots

GROUND SCHOOL

  • ALL CADETS DOING GROUND SCHOOL – Please check the 135 Ground School Page on Teams for new announcements, including links to upcoming deadlines and items that need to be completed.

  • Information about the Exam and further process will be coming out shortly.
