Summer Training 2024
The air cadet program offers a variety of summer camps to give cadets opportunities to learn new skills or improve their current expertise. Summer camps are open to all cadets and generally focus on teaching or improving certain skillsets (ie. band, drills, etc.). Summer camps are held in various cadet training centers (CTC) all around Canada.

Air Elemental Courses
Aviation Technology and Aerospace (ATA)
Duration: 2 weeks
Prerequisites: Training Year 2+
Locations: Argonaut CTC, Valcartier CTC, Blackdown CTC, Cold Lake CTC, HMCS Quadra CTC
Advanced Aviation Course (AA)
Duration: 4 weeks
Prerequisites: Training Year 3+
Locations: Argonaut CTC, Valcartier CTC, Blackdown CTC, Cold Lake CTC, HMCS Quadra CTC
Glider Pilot Training Course (GPTC)
Duration: 6-7 weeks
Prerequisites: Training Year 3+ & Additional requirements are detailed in CJCR Gp Order 8060-7

Power Pilot Training Course (PPTC)
Duration: 7 weeks
